Employing a high-touch approach, I conduct thorough artist research, create virtual installations, develop pricing strategies, and compose curatorial statements. Additionally, I oversee production logistics, manage installations, and conduct appraisals to ensure each collection narrates a story that resonates with and genuinely reflects the essence of the individual, brand, or space that inspired its creation. I delight in those moments when a curatorial thread emerges organically — a reference to a childhood memory assumed forgotten, a preference for self-portraits or the color green — an added component to our conscious curation that will sometimes only present itself once the work is on the wall.

In my role as Gallery Director of Jackson Fine Art, my accomplishments in achieving personal annual photography sales goals underscore my proficiency in sales and operations management, demonstrating an ability to balance revenue generation with operational responsibilities. This experience uniquely positions me to navigate the intricate intersection of artistic vision, market trends, and client preferences.

My years of gallery direction, including the management of exhibition schedules, negotiation of terms with galleries and artists, oversight of production logistics, and implementation of relevant and responsive marketing strategies, have afforded me with a keen eye for balancing artistic integrity with commercial viability. This experience, coupled with hiring, training, and conducting regular employee reviews, attests to my adeptness in team leadership and organizational development.

As a dealer, curator, and reviewer with years of commitment to board and community service within the arts, I am dedicated to fostering a vibrant arts community both locally and globally. Since 2016, I have contributed to the advisory committee of Atlanta Celebrates Photography; in 2023, I joined the Art Papers Executive Board of Directors, further solidifying my dedication to the arts on a broader scale.
